Recruiting

Recruiting respondents is the core of the facility business, and at Adept, great care is taken to maintain the quality of these efforts. To insure this, a proven methodology, superb database, and proprietary software are implemented. These elements comprise the lifeline of Adept's recruiting process.

Typically, project directors use this methodology to gain a full understanding and scope of each project. Understanding the databases' various components and how to utilize its capabilities allow the project directors to combine different variables and begin to paint a picture of the perfect respondent. This vital criteria is then distributed through the network to supervisory staff and experienced recruiting teams. Should a more random type of recruit be required, a different approach may be taken, but the results are always the same... a highly qualified, and representative respondent.

This process, knowledge base, and team effort helps Adept to maintain their reputation for pulling off the impossible.

Respondent Database

The key to Adept's recruiting capabilities is their database and great care is taken to maintain its quality. To accomplish this, thousands of new respondents are added monthly and information is updated continually.

Adept's database is a culmination of nearly two decades of growth and innovation, the latest being Adept's RespondeNT™ facility management system. This new software works through their NT™ network and utilizes the latest sequel server technology. Every project manager and supervisor has a terminal on their desk and an in-depth knowledge of Adept's proprietary software and methodologies. This places unparalleled resources at the fingertips of every key employee within the organization.

As times change... so does the database. Adept has the ability to quickly access respondents by many demographic variables as well as things like ownership of automotive models, computer usage, travelers, technology users and so on. Over 100,000 households are tracked in Adept's consumer database - and many more in their business, professional, and medical databases.

Maintaining a database with integrity is critical, but understanding its various components and how to utilize its capabilities is the real key to Adept's success.

For example, should a client seek respondents of a certain mindset - or psychographic profile - project directors are able to combine different factors such as income, geographical residence, cars driven, age of children, and occupation - and begin to paint a picture of the perfect respondent.

At times, a more random type of recruit may be required, and a different approach may be taken, but the results are always the same... a highly qualified, and representative respondent.

It is this database, knowledge base, and team effort which helps Adept to maintain their reputation for pulling off the impossible.

Qualitative Assistants

Qualitative Assistants or QA's are not just "hostesses" anymore. These friendly faces represent Adept's facility staff and they work hand-in-hand with Project Managers and Supervisors. Briefed on all projects prior to a clients arrival, QA's expedite the process of checking in respondents and administer rescreeners to ensure qualified participants.

Not only are they aware of projects, but they also take the responsibility in screening out people that may have qualified on phone and paper, but does not ultimately fit the profile the client intended.

Over the years, Adept Consumer Testing has raised the standards and level of training qualitative assistants. These employees interact directly with clients and represent the company. Anytime they can make you more comfortable, assist you with clerical help, making reservations or even calling a cab, don't hesitate to call on Adept's QA staff.

Usability Labs

Whatever your objective, Adept Consumer Testing, Inc. has the experience to provide your company with a successful usability study.

Usability labs make it possible for clients to test the effectiveness of their websites. Active websites may be viewed through an analog or DSL connection; or if your website is still in the planning stages, the future site can be launched from a CD-ROM, or temporary site. Project scenarios and connection speeds are frequently determined by our clients, or one of our professionals will provide guidance and make suggestions on the best approach. Clients can choose either very fast connection speeds, or speeds that are closer to those found in the average consumer's home or office.

Actual usability lab setups are as variable as the projects themselves. The flexibility of our different usability lab configurations shows our true commitment to the methodology, and our dedication to providing labs in accordance with our client's needs and specifications.

The typical usability study is recorded using a picture in picture recording of the session, thus allowing the client to observe both the website and the respondent's reactions to it, simultaneously. In addition, we offer Morae software technology and/or MobiLab technology if requested.
